Fixing computer issues today is tough. These guys were AWESOME! Honest, transparent, and knowledgeable when it came to my Apple MacBook Pro issue. I didn’t have time to resolve the issue myself but they came through by identifying the issue and got me back up and running in the same day! (That isn’t always the case) don’t go anywhere else if you’re in St George and need a computer repair.

I had an iPhone problem. I googled Apple repair locations near me. I clicked on Lifeguard Computers and dialed their shop. The Lifeguard on duty told me that they fix computers and i Pads but not phones, however, another lifeguard, Brady, had an iPhone and he would look at mine. I went to the shop and Brady spent about 30 minutes, found the problem and I'm saved! If I ever have computer problems I know where to go. T he lifeguards are friendly, knowledgeable and real LIFE SAVERS.

So I couldn’t figure out how to configure the cords of my motherboard of my old case into my new case. I called these guys up and they said to come in 30 min before they closed. Came in and Cody immediately began to look at my pc configuration. Cody worked overtime and stayed after hours to figure out the problems and when he completed everything he was very friendly and he did not ask for a price and let me walk out with a free pc service and a happy smile on my face. I was having power management issues with a 2 year old Macbook with half of the specified battery cycles remaining. After having done some preliminary diagnostics and attempted OS-related fixes, I brought it into Lifeguard to run hardware diagnostics. They were honest, timely, and did not charge for the diagnostics. Their quote to replace the battery was reasonable. Apple ended up replacing the battery for free despite the fact it was past the 2 year warranty date; however, had they not I would have taken it back to Lifeguard. The only downside is that they are not an authorized Mac repair center, so they can't fulfill repair requests from Apple Support.

Today my work computer would not turn on. I panicked and took it to Lifeguard this morning, thinking it was just a switch. The guys told me they would analyze it today and they would have it fixed by tomorrow. Cody called me around 5:30 this evening to say it was actually the motherboard that went out. As I started to really panic, he told me he could switch all my information onto a refurbished, faster, better, newer computer for a great price and a one-year guarantee. I picked up my new computer half an hour later, perfectly setup, everything installed and exactly as my old computer was. All I had to do was plug everything back in. Lifeguard is wonderful! Total professionals who go out of their way to serve their customers.

This is an excellent business. From my experience they were very helpful and knowledgeable. I had potentially very damaging pop-up that I could not get rid of. They were able to remove it completely and go through the files to ensure all was properly set up. They did it the same day and their charge was very reasonable. My iMac has been so slow for so long. After taking it into LifeGuard Computers here is St. George for a diagnostic test, I was informed my 6 year old hard drive was the problem. They fixed me up with brand new technology utilizing a solid state flash drive. I can't believe the difference. When I preform a task on my iMac, it now takes seconds instead of minutes to complete. I have been in business for over 55 years and I think I know service, knowledge and professionalism when I witness it. Lifeguard provides it all to their clients and customers. They are dedicated to solving customer issues. You get the feeling they care more about you versus just making money and profits which I am sure they accomplish, but they are the best I have encountered in St George and would you believe in Chicago where we are from. If you have a tech issue go to Cody. If he can't fix it, he will advise you what to do. If they can fix it, they do it thoroughly and they make sure you are totally happy. Can I say more, yes, but if you don't get my point, you don't deserve Lifeguard as your vendor!! They are the best!!!!!!!

My wife's Dell Inspiron 15 would not power up and since we have the Geek Squad service we took it there. They said it was the power supply and couldn't do anything for us. It was critical that we get the Documents folder copied to a thumb drive but they said they couldn't keep power on long enough to do it. Aaron took it apart, found the problem in the power supply, ordered the part AND copied the folder to a thumb drive for us. All this and the cost was more than reasonable. We've told our friends too.

Bought a desktop system from Lifeguard, and had an issue with system not staying asleep. Emailed Lifeguard, and Brady, solved my problem within minutes. This was after chatting with Microsoft Techs for 2 days, and about 4 hours of time. I will contact Lifeguard first, in the future. They are not worried about answering questions for free. Great equipment and service, which is the name of the game. You need good support in the computer world.

Very satisfied with the service I received from the guys at Lifeguard. I usually do my own computer work, however time can be pretty valuable. They offer a free diagnostic and the fact that they are a local shop I decided I would give them a shot, I'm glad I did. The price was very fair, the mark up for the replacement part was not crazy and the time they took diagnosing the issue along with them handling any warranty issues that may arise with the replacement power supply was well worth the extra $14 for the part as well as the cost of labor. There was even some software issues after the replacement which weren't previously known and they helped resolve those without any extra charge.A big thanks to both Elijah and Cody for the services they provided. If I need assistance in the future I will definitely be going back to them before looking elsewhere and recommend anyone in need of local service to check them out and give them a shot as well.

My experience with LifeGuard Computers was great! Brady is very professional and kind. I had a unfortunate situation happen with my computer where the hard drive was erased. I lost all of my photos and documents and I was left with a computer that no longer worked. Brady was empathetic towards my situation and did everything that he could to better it! Today, Lifeguard Computers saved me!!! I was on my laptop when a pop up came from what appeared to be Microsoft Security Essentials telling me my computer had been hacked and hackers were getting all my private info. I called the 1-800 # listed on the screen to fix the problem, and it was answered by a "foreign-sounding" person (first RED FLAG) that informed me I needed to upgrade my Windows 7 program to Windows 7 Ultimate for only $99.99, and that I also needed to sign up for 1 year of complete tech support for only $119.99, or 4 years for ONLY $275.99, all inclusive. When he showed me the company address it was an address in CANADA (2nd RED FLAG). When I explained I didn't have that much money, he started lowering the dollar amount, and I told him I had to go find my purse, and immediately called Lifeguard Computers. Tech told me it was a "SCAM" and to tell the guy that I knew it was a scam and was going to turn them in. He immediately started clearing the screen and deleting what he had typed, and I disconnected. I took my laptop to Lifeguard Computers right away, tech scanned everything and told me my computer was SAFE. THANK YOU for your help in not letting me get SCAMMED.

I can not give enough stars for Ammon in the Hurricane store!!! My macbook pro bit the dust and I was panicked because I adore this computer! Ammon systematically worked through my computer, going above and beyond, and even researched and talked to other techs about my computer. He gave it back to me twice and it rapidly declined so I took it back to him. Finally as a last effort he tried a fairly new technic (what could it hurt, he had done every thing possible) and it is still working 3 weeks later. My husband used to be a mac tech but things have changed so much since then and he was amazed at Ammon's knowledge and perseverance.

My first visit to LifeGuard Computers was on the 19th of November 2015 visiting with Austin and telling him of my problems with my Lap Top. I'm ignorant about computers and my 'smarter than I am phone'. Austin gave my LapTop a clean/tune up and now it does work much better. It got a virus when I was not looking and nothing worked. He loaded a new virus fighter/blocker and some other stuff I don't understand, and fixed all my errors in trying to do things where I did not know what I was doing. The service price was great and I will be back as needed and I did tell several friends about LifeGuard. Today the 17th Of December, I brought it in again to correct some of the mess up's I have created and could not figure out how to correct. This time Ammon help me with my problems and corrected them. He also pointed out some features and showed me how to work my 'smarter than I am phone a bit better. Again, I felt for the time I spent there and the price Ammon charged me was very fair. Recently my wife, who works from home for a university in another state, was very upset to discover a critical folder of data missing on her computer. The university IT computer staff were unable to help her over the phone and told her that the data was certainly overwritten since it had been a month since she used that folder. I was on a road trip and business trip in Utah and my external hard drive broke. I took it to LifeGuard Computers and then went back 4 days later, it wasn't ready for collection and so they sent to Las Vegas to me at my next destination.Whilst the hard drive was beyond repair, the communication and service that I received from LifeGuard Computers was extremely good. I first used their services last December when I wanted to convert scanned photographs into musical movies on Picasa. This was a huge project. I went in for a 1 hour training and my frustration was eliminated. I am bad at names but the young man with a cap on was so helpful and explained everything in detail but also in English (not computerese). He told me I could call with questions which I did at least 4 times before I got the project all finished. I was so happy to find these guys. We cfouldn't be more pleased with LifeGuard and particularly with Ammon! We were needing a new lap top and having done business with Best Buy previously had priced one there. In the meantime our Son Lance told us about LifeGuard. The result is we have a new Dell lap top that is set up like we needed plus, they replaced the hard drive on our desk top and tuned it up generally. Ammon also set up our computers to work with our wireless printer remotely. This was all done including the new lap top for less than the new lap top at Best Buy would have cost. We have also had mixed quality levels of support from Best Buy depending upon their Agent when we had problems in the past whether on line,phone or in store. We are impressed with the knowledge Ammon and his associates have about computers and the pleasant, timely & economical service provided. We just feel fortunate to have found them and recommend them highly.

We needed help for our grandson's computer as fast as possible because he needed it for college. We took it there late Friday and they were very helpful! They worked on it Sat. and were able to fix it. They were very polite and professional. In fact, they were so knowledgeable and informative that we took our computer there the next weekend and had them work on it. They answered all of our questions and guarantee all of their work! I highly recommend them.

I am a BIG fan of the guys at Lifeguard Computers (LGC). Brady and Ammon have gone above and beyond the call of duty to take care of my computer needs. I purchased a new computer from them recently and they have been so attentive and detailed in making sure that my old data was transferred correctly. They have made sure that I knew how to use the new machine. They gave me some free upgrades and free service so that my machine would run top notch. Ammon even came out to my home because I was having a problem with my internet. I was embarrassed because we discovered that the problem was a disconnected cord but Ammon was so professional and he did not even charge me which was absolutely incredible and way over the top service. I am very grateful for and appreciative of Ammon and Brady and the GREAT way that they have taken care of me. They are the consummate professionals. I HIGHLY recommend LGC for all of your computer and technology needs. They are the best. Thanks guys!!!

I am an epidemiologist/biostatistician working remotely for medical school neurosurgeons from my home in St. George, Utah. Hence, I am very dependent on my computer and statistical software working optimally with minimum downtime. After I developed problems with my work computer experiencing a dramatic slowdown in processing requests, accessing the internet, and timing out when attempting to connect remotely with my work network servers, I contacted LifeGuard Computers. For many years I have been a student, published writer, and teacher, spanning the historic transition from paper to electronic formats. Computers have been very helpful in research, writing, teaching, and publishing, but mastery of electronic technology has been laborious and time consuming for me over the years. After visiting Lifeguard Computers, my frustration with computer technology has greatly diminished. These young men, in particular Ammon Sorden, understood my frustration and needs in using computers, and efficiently built me a system that simplified my life and made it blessedly more efficient. Furthermore, they didn't just sell me a machine and wish me well after I paid for it. They spent a lot of time educating me in system selection and use in terms that I could grasp and work with. Ammon has been exceedingly cordial and has the gift of teaching his extensive experience and comprehension of computer hardware and software technology, even though he is only 25 years old. He built me a superb system at a price comparable to the discount stores and supplied a 3 year hardware warranty. Any time I have any problem, Lifeguard is available personally and online to resolve it. While in their shop, I overheard Lifeguard techs talking with customers in very patient, diplomatic terms that didn't assume the customer was a geek expert. This pleasant and humble manner of dealing with sometimes difficult and frustrating customers is what has all kinds of people, especially senior citizens like me, returning again and again to Lifeguard. In my experience with personal computers over the last 40+ years, Lifeguard is truly unique and superlative. I give them the highest ranking in every respect.
